4 Homes Burglarized in Bellmore, N. Merrick
The burglaries all occurred on Thursday, police say.

Nassau Police are investigating four home burglaries that occurred in Bellmore and North Merrick on Thursday.
The burglaries took place between 8:15 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. According to police:
- A Martin Avenue, Bellmore home was broken into through a rear window. Assorted jewelry was removed from the home.
- A Cameron Avenue, N. Merrick home was entered through a rear window. Assorted jewelry was removed from the home.
- A second Martin Avenue home was entered through a rear sliding glass door. Assorted jewelry was removed from the home.
- A Northridge Avenue, N. Merrick resident returned home and discovered the rear screen door was removed and the sliding glass door off the track. At this time no entry appears to have been made, police said.
