Alumni Searching for Bone Marrow Donor for JFK Grad's Son

JFK alumna's son has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant.

Kennedy High School alumni are joining the search for a bone marrow donor to help a fellow graduate’s son.

Graduates and friends of JFK alumna Janice Dean Xavier have organized a bone marrow registry drive, set for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., to find a match for her son, Tyler.

Tyler was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when he was 11 years old and has since been in and out of the hospital and chemotherapy treatments. After a year of being cancer free, Tyler learned the disease had resurfaced.
