• Bellmore women Gina Sita-Molz and Wendy Tepfer honored as Women of Distinction (liherald.com) — Two Bellmore residents, Dr. Gina Sita-Molz and Wendy Tepfer, were honored among 14 Women of Distinction for their deep service to Bellmore families, schools, and civic life. Their work in mental health, parent education, and student safety has shaped local programs and inspired recognition from state Sen. Steve Rhoads at a districtwide ceremony.
   

• Merrick's Allison Sussman honored as Woman of Distinction (liherald.com) — A districtwide Women of Distinction ceremony recognized Merrick resident Allison Sussman for her years of service in education, the PTA, and the Jewish community, alongside honorees from Bellmore and neighboring towns. The event, hosted by state Sen. Steve Rhoads, highlighted how local volunteers strengthen schools, fight antisemitism, and inspire others to get involved across the Bellmore–Merrick area.
