Annual Bellmore Street Fair Coming Sept. 23-26
The family-friendly event will feature rides, food and craft vendors during the four-day festival.
BELLMORE, NY — The amusement rides are about to take over the LIRR parking lot. The annual Bellmore Street Fair is scheduled to run from Sept. 23-26.
The outdoor agenda includes live music and food trucks. The fair is organized by the Bellmore Chamber of Commerce.
One of the highlights each year is the carnival, which runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the opening night. It's scheduled from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday. But it's a full day of excitement on the weekend (Saturday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.).

The weekend raincheck dates are Oct. 21 to 24.
Along with the typical "fare," a Moderna COVID-19 vaccine tent will be on site from 9 a.m to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Also with health in mind, a blood drive is expected to take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The kids can enjoy a petting zoo and pony rides.
