Bellmore Chamber Hosts Ribbon Cutting for New Office

Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray, along with Councilman Gary Hudes and Councilwoman Angie Cullen, joined with the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new office, located at the intersection of Bedford and Pettit Avenues.

"This is a great day for one of the most active organizations in the Bellmore community," Murray said. "The Chamber of Commerce not only promotes business in the area, it also sponsors family and community-centered events throughout the year."

The new office resulted in the expansion of the Nassau County Police booth, which is Town land. They provided the additional land for the building's expansion.

"I'm so happy we were able to assist the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores," Cullin added.

"The Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores is happy to be moving into the new, permanent home and we thank Kate Murray and the Town of Hempstead for all its cooperation," Chamber President Debby Izzo said.
