Bellmore Little League Remembers 9/11 With Candlelight Vigil
Players and residents meet at the Bruce H. Gary Field as they have for several years.
The Bellmore Little League hosted a candlelight vigil to remember and honor the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The vigil was held on Saturday night at the Bruce H. Gary Memorial Field of Heroes.
Gary was a former league board member and father of three children. He died on 9/11 while working as a New York City firefighter that day. He was 51.
