Bellmore-Merrick Names Student Of The Year
Molly Flaherty received the 2019 Student of the Year Scholarship Award.
From Bellmore- Merrick Schools:Molly Flaherty, a student at Sanford H. Calhoun High School, was recently presented with the Student of the Year Scholarship Award.
She was nominated by her teachers based upon her accomplishments while at Calhoun. She accepted this award during the Long Island Association of Special Education Administrators annual scholarship luncheon on June 7 at the Crest Hollow Country Club. In attendance were Molly’s parents, sister, Maggie, special education teacher Lisa Loonie and Assistant Director of Special Education, Emily Paluseo. Molly kindly accepted the award and thanked those in attendance. All who have worked with Molly are so proud of her accomplishments and wish her luck in her future endeavors.
