Bellmore-Merrick School Budget Passes

BELLMORE-MERRICK, NY — The results are in, and the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District's budget passed.

The vote was 8,400 to 4,983 in favor of the spending plan.

In addition, residents also voted to pass proposition 2, which authorized the spending of money from the district's capital reserve fund. It passed 10,056 to 3,412.

All of the votes were cast by absentee ballot this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
