Bellmore Presbyterian Church Easter Week Services

Bellmore Presbyterian Church will be having a Palm Sunday Service on March 29, and an Easter Sunday Service on April 5, 2015.  This year we will only be having one service at 10:30 a.m. on Palm Sunday, with our Passion Play and Cantata being performed.  Communion will be served. 

On Easter Sunday, we will be part of the Annual Easter Sunrise Service at Jones Beach, Parking Field 6 at 6:00 am.   We will have our traditional Easter Service at 9:00 am with Pastor Barnum.  At the 10:30 am service we will have the continuation of the Passion Play and Cantata.   Communion will be served at both the 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. services.

Our two Choir Directors, Julianne Merrill and Megan Brockway,   along with Dr. Reverend Jim Barnum, the Sunday school students, the children’s and senior choirs, and the praise band will be performing a two part Passion Play and Cantata, on these two Sundays.

The Play and the Musical Cantata will be retelling the age old bible story of Jesus’s betrayal and his walk to Cavalry on Palm Sunday, and his crucification on Easter Sunday. 

All are welcome to come to see this story come to life.  Plenty of free parking.

We will also have on April 2, a Maundy Thursday Communion Service at 7:30 pm. as part of the Bellmore-Merrick churches story of the Journey of the Cross for Lent.
