Bellmore Residents Excelling in College

Colleges and universities announced the names of Bellmore residents who are performing well on the college level.

SUNY Geneseo

• The following Bellmore residents were named to the Dean's List for the Fall semester: William Fugina and Katrina Keohane.

• Kayla Babbush was named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester.

• The fall semester Dean's List at Bryant University includes the following area residents: Marissa Cohen, a junior in Accounting from North Bellmore, and Sam Rosen, a sophomore in Business Administration from Bellmore.

• The following area residents were named to the the dean's list at Quinnipiac University for the Fall 2012 semester: Lindsey Hanes, Brandon Lazarus, Matthew Morrow and Amanda Barroca.

• Keith Urio, a resident of North Bellmore, has been named to the Fall 2012 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Keith is majoring in Architecture.

• A total of 1,300 students were named to the Dean's List, including the following list of area residents: John Camilleri, a senior English major, Tricia Leavy, a sophomore Nursing major, and Olivia Wynn, a sophomore Early and Primary Teacher Education major.

• The following local residents are among the 1,329 students who earned Dean's List honors for the fall 2012 semester at SUNY Oneonta: Gina Barnao, Allison Bukatman, Connor Day, Erika Muccio, Emily Rolston, Katie Sheehan and Daniela Velez.
• The following local residents are among the 307 students who graduated from SUNY Oneonta following the fall 2012 semester: Melissa Bernstein, Katelynn Dwyer, Rachel Longarello, Alexa Mann andGabrielle Waldman.

• Salvatore Curasi was a recipient of the Dean's Award for academic excellence during the 2012 fall term at Colgate University, where he's a member of the Class of 2015. To be eligible for the Dean's Award, a Colgate student must achieve higher than a 3.30 avereage while enrolled in at least four courses.
