Bellmore Residents Excelling in College

Colleges and universities announced the names of Bellmore residents who are performing well on the college level.

Colgate University

• Salvatore Curasi was a recipient of the Dean's Award for academic excellence during the 2012 fall term at Colgate University, where Curasi is a member of the Class of 2015.

• Joseph J Kneuer of Bellmore was named to the Dean's List. To be included on the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average.

• David Meyers, from the  class of 2013 was named to the Tufts University Dean's List.. Dean's List honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

• Fairfield University has announced that the following local residents have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester: Francesca Romano and Kyle Scherer. 

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following local students have been named to the Dean's List for Fall 2012: Samuel Burke, Brian Monks, Justin Schivek and Erin Lenz.
