Dr. Joseph Famularo, the superintendent of Bellmore Schools, has sent a letter home to parents regarding the district's plans to make up lost days.
According to the letter, school will now be in session from Feb 21-23. Additionally, March 18 was scheduled as a parent/teacher conference day, but now it will be a regular school day.

There will be three parent/teacher conference days added to the calendar:
- March 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Shore Road School
- April 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Winthrop Avenue School
- April 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Reinhard ECC
"The District had planned to hold a Staff Development Day in March, but will no longer do so in order to make-up an additional school day for students," Famularo said. "Thank you for working together during these extraordinary times."
