Bellmore Students Practice Bus Safety

Students at Bellmore’s Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center spent the morning of Sept. 17 learning proper bus safety procedures.

The program, which was designed to reinforce ongoing lessons in school bus safety, reminded students of the correct bus stop behavior, proper conduct requirements while riding the bus and the orderly procedure of boarding and leaving the bus, as well as how to exit the bus in case of emergency.
