Riley Fried of Bellmore was awarded the High Point trophy at Metro Swimming Junior Olympics on July 23rd. She placed in the top three of each of her nine events, winning the 100 fly and the 200 IM and anchoring the record breaking freestyle relay.
Riley is the 10-year-old daughter of Scott and Kristin (Mund) Fried, both competitive swimmers through college. She swims with the Long Island Swim Club that practices at the Aquatic Center in Eisenhower Park. Her head coach, Dave Ferris, was also the coach of her parents.
