Bellmore Woman Arrested for Attempted Murder
Flees the scene after allegedly stabbing a Freeport man.

A 20-year-old Bellmore woman was arrested on attempted murder charges early Saturday morning after she allegedly stabbed a Freeport man multiple times.
According to First Squad detectives, Christina Drew met a 42-year-old man near Merrick Road in Freeport and went back to his residence on Layton Street around 3 a.m.
A short time later a fight ensued and Drew allegedly took out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times all over his body. Drew fled the scene and was later arrested.

The victim was transported to Nassau University Medical Center where he is in critical, but stable condition.
Drew is charged with Attempted Murder 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree. She will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Sunday.
