'A Better You, A Better Me' Concert in Bellmore

On Jan. 15, under the direction of Randi Andersen, the second-graders in the Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center Rising Star Chorus held their annual winter concert.

The theme for this year’s concert was “A Better You, A Better Me!” wherein the children performed songs that exemplified Reinhard’s Core Values of friendship and the importance of having good character and a positive attitude.

Before each song, groups of students introduced the various features of the song and how it related to the core values. The highlight of the concert came when the Rising Stars performed a rendition of “Happy” and danced and sang through the aisles to end the show.

“The concert proved to be a wonderful performance and celebration of friendship and childhood,” noted Andersen.
