Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District’s Grand Avenue Middle School students were recently surprised to meet Broadway star Ryan Steele. Mr. Steele, who plays ‘Specs’ in the Broadway smash “Newsies,” stopped by to watch the students during auditions for this year’s school play.
Mr. Steele discussed his experiences on stage and gave advice to the young performers. Most importantly, he encouraged the students to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.
