Vehicle Flips Over on Sunrise Highway

A vehicle flipped over on Sunrise Highway near Bedford Avenue before 8 a.m. Wednesday.

According to Bellmore Fire Department officials, three vehicles were involved and one came at rest on the guard rail on the north side of Sunrise Highway. 

All of the occupants of the involved vehicles refused medical attention at the scene.

A third vehicle that was parked in the Long Island Rail Road lot was also damaged, fire officials added.

The intersection was closed for approximately 30 minutes, and Nassau County Police are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
