Car Wreck in North Bellmore

A man involved in a car accident early this morning in North Bellmore was transported to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. 

The police said the man exited the westbound Southern State Parkway to northbound Newbridge Road and made an illegal U-turn,  colliding with a 1995 Oldsmobile traveling northbound on Newbridge Road. 

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Detectives reported no apparent criminality at this time.
