Cops: Gas Odor Causes Road Closure in Bellmore
Jerusalem Avenue closed near Newbridge Road.
Update: All surrounding roads were reopened at 10:44 a.m.
Cops have closed roads in North Bellmore after reports of a smell of gas in the area.
Nassau County Police said Jerusalem Avenue was closed down between Little Neck Avenue and Newbridge Road after a "strong odor of gas in the area" was reported.
