Cops: Man Broke into Home, Stole Macbook
Man dropped computer when confronted by good samaritan, cops said.

Nassau County Police have released surveillance photos of a man they say broke into a Baldwin home and took a laptop.
Police said the man entered a School Street home through an unlocked window, took an Apple laptop, and fled on a bicycle.
The subject was confronted by a good samaritan and dropped the computer before fleeing west on Maude Street, cops said.

The incident happened July 20 at 7:25 a.m., police said.
The subject was described as a black male, 20-29 years old, thin build, and was wearing a baseball hat and shorts at the time.

As they continue their investigation, detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
