Cops: Man Stole $21K from Atlantic Beach Bank Account

Nassau County Police released surveillance photos of a man they say stole thousands of dollars from a victim’s bank accounts.

Cops said an unknown subject used personal information from an Atlantic Beach resident to make several withdrawals from his Capital One bank accounts. The theft totaled $21,000 from four withdrawals, cops said.

The man caught on surveillance made one of the fraudulent withdrawals, cops said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
