Creative Empowerment Arts Contest for High School Students requires submissions on the Life and Experiences of Today's Youth

Each high school Junior and senior winner receives $1000.00 scholarship * Grades 9 and 10 winners each receive a $500.00 leadership grant.

Your Time For Creative Empowerment, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which works with Long Island area youth and their families to identify solutions to 21st Century challenges and pitfalls though the use of the arts, fashion and culture; invites high school students to participate in their annual Creative Empowerment Arts Contest.

Eleventh and twelfth grade winners of this contest, which calls for students of all academic disciplines and acumen to creatively express their views on the life and experiences of today's youth, receive a college scholarship of $1000.00 each, while the 9th and 10th grade winners each receive a leadership grant award of 500.00 to be used to further a proposed leadership initiative in their school or community. Winners are formally presented at the organization's annual fundraising gala.

All entries submitted through the online upload tool must be created exclusively for this contest and must be available for submission to the organization in order to fully meet the Your Time For Creative Empowerment, Inc. contest requirement.
