Crime Report: Man Arrested at School, Bias Graffiti Found
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.
- Bias graffiti was found on the outside walls of Martin Avenue Elementary School sometime between Sept. 28 and 30.
- Eduardo Cruz, 37, of Brooklyn was sentenced on Oct. 2 to 25 years in prison for his role in a violent 2011 home invasion in North Bellmore.
- Two women were arrested for performing unlicensed massages at a Merrick Road spa.
- A homeless man from Hempstead was arrested on Oct. 2 at Grand Avenue Middle School, after he robbed and stabbed a man in Freeport.
