Children of all ages, and of course the young at heart, are invited to dress in costumes and join in this annual event, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores.
All community members who wish to participate are asked to assemble at the Bellmore Fire House on Pettit Avenue at 11:45 a.m. The festivities will commence at 12:00 noon.
The parade will head up Bedford Avenue with the children in their costumes with very spooky music broadcast throughout the village downtown. Trick-or-Treating will follow. All merchants that have "Mr. Pumpkin" on their window will be participating in giving treats to the children.
