Children will join yoga instructor Vicky Seff (RYT, RCYT) of Floating Lotus Yoga of Bellmore for this health-based system of exercise that explores and integrates the mind, body, and breath. Children will have imaginative fun learning how to move gracefully, breathe smoothly and deeply, sustain their focus and concentration, develop strength, flexibility, balance, mental clarity and emotional stability.
Preregister with the Children’s Department
For the full benefit and enjoyment of these classes, children should wear comfortable clothes that allow them to move and stretch. The children will be participating in bare feet, so I would encourage them to avoid wearing tights on this day.
