A great comic/ventriloquist and a decorated Marine (Vietnam.... both a Drill Instructor and a "tunnel rat") Not to forget that he was also a husband and father, suddenly died a couple of weeks ago.
To give you an example of how much he was loved and respected....A huge comedy show in his honor is being held at the Bellmore Theatre on Sunday April 1st at 2pm. It's going to be an amazing show with MANY comedians (Don't worry... we are all doing like 7 minutes each...it's not a four hour show). But this should give you a clue as to how well liked and admired he was.
