Special Sundays: I Ought To Be In Pictures

Lantern Theatre Productions presents this play. A young woman tracks down her father a struggling, writer’s blocked screenwriter in California who abandoned his family 16 years earlier.  Libby is convinced that he he can jump-start the Hollywood acting career she desires.  The play ran on Broadway for 324 performances beginning in 1980, and was made into a movie in 1982 staring Walter Matthau and Ann-Margret.  

NOTE: Tickets are needed to attend these FREE Sunday programs. Bellmore residents can pick up tickets for the Sunday program starting the Monday two weeks before. If any tickets remain, they will be available to non-Bellmore residents at the door the afternoon of the performance.
