Various hearings are scheduled to take place, including the following related to issues in Bellmore.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., the following cases will be called:

  • 653/11. BELLMORE - John Anderson, Renewal of grant to maintain 5' high fence., N/W cor. Centre Ave. & Hicks St., a/k/a 2314 Centre Ave.
  • 669/11.BELLMORE - John Pizzirusso, Variances, height, lot area occupied, front yard average setback, side yard, side yards aggregate, exceeds number of stories all of which is below flood hazard elevation, construct dwelling with garage (demolish existing dwelling)., E/s Judith Dr., 961.8' S/o Rita Ct., a/k/a 3009 Judith Dr. (S.E.Q.R. determination not made).

  • 677/11. BELLMORE - George D. Posporelis & Melanie A. Dudutis, Variances, side yard, side yards aggregate, maintain wood deck attached to dwelling., N/s Frederick Ave., 650.07' W/o Centre Ave., a/k/a 330 Frederick Ave.
  • 685/11.BELLMORE - Edward & Marlene Borenstein, Maintain 6' & 7' high fence larger than pool installation area & which is forward of the dwelling., N/E cor. Shore Rd. & Malibu Rd., a/k/a 3033 Shore Rd.

Please note: The following case originally scheduled for today has been postponed until Wednesday, August 10. It impacts Wantagh, but also may be of interest to Bellmore residents, since it concerns the water supplier Aqua Water:

  • 1460/11.WANTAGH - Aqua New York, Special exception to erect a 158.66' high, 500,000 gallon water tank in conjunction with public utility., N/W cor. Demott Ave. & Seaford-Oyster Bay Pkwy. (S.E.Q.R. determination not made)
