"Uncle Melvin's Closet" Film Debut

This film about Long Island comedians who honed their craft at the Brokerage, Governor's COmedy Club and other local venues, will premiere. Also, comedians will perform live onstage following the film in a post-movie show starring Mitch Malters, Jim Shubert, Jim Daliakis, and Sheila Kay.

The story of the movie? Danny, a germaphobe from Chicago, travels to New York to meet with publishers about his new novel. A rejection, a fall and a fractured leg land him in the care of his scam-artist Uncle who he hasn’t seen in 10 years.  It’s also been about that long since his Uncle Melvin’s apartment has last been cleaned!
