The Rockville Center newly founded Diocesan Boys choir, are holding their official Fundraiser kickoff event on July 21 2011, At the Knights of Columbus, 2333 Belmore Ave, Belmore, NY ,11710. The fundraiser , Pilgrimage To The Vatican, musical tour of Italy, in July 2012, is to help raise money to defer the costs of these wonderful talented young boys trip to Italy. They will travel with the amazing Rockville center men and boys choir to Italy next year, where they will have the honor of singing for his Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, at the Vatican, Rome, and on to other cities. The vendor party is a great way get together with friends, shop and meet new friends. The participating vendors , Lia Sophia, Pampered Chef, Gold Party, Tupperware ,Avon, and Catalog orders for Scentsy Candles. My two Sons, Caolan and Liam Joy, are members of the choir and they will be representing our parish St.Barnabas, Here in Bellmore and our affiliated parishes, St Francis De Chantal, Cure of Ars, Sacred Heart, and St Bernards in Levittown. There is a $10.00 cover charge which includes, appetizers , wine and soda and dessert. A fun night for all, while supporting a wonderful event.
This event is cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, and will be rescheduled at a later date, thanks to all who planned on coming to this event, we appreciate it, and we hope to see everyone at a later date, we very much appreciate your support.
