Former Paintball Arena Remains Vacant

Located on Newbridge Road, the former Obnoxious Paintball has been vacant for about six months.

Ron Mare, president of the said that the 25,000 square-foot property at 1305 Newbridge Road was empty for many years before it became a paintball arena.

"That space was empty for at least 15 years before Obnoxious Paintball was there," he said.

Obnoxious was only open for a little more than a year.

The closing of commercial buildings are not uncommon in Bellmore, especially during a down economy.

Mare said that manufacturing and sales businesses would be best suited for the property.

"It is definitely for an industrial type of thing," he said. "It is not really for retail and it would be suitable for a gym."
