- Meadowbrook Envirothon & Nature Hike Where/When? Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Why Go? Presentations will be given by local politicians and environmentalists, followed by a wonderful nature hike from the Brookside School to the Roosevelt Preserve along the Meadowbrook corridor. Pricing: Free, Open to All, Outdoor.
- String Orchestra of New York City Concert Where/When? Sanford H. Calhoun High School; Saturday, 8:30 p.m. Why Go? Come out and enjoy the beautiful music at this community concert, part of the Merrick-Bellmore Community Concert Association's subscription series. Pricing: By subscription.
- 8-Hour Boating & Jetski Certificate Courses Where/When? North Bellmore Fire Department; Sunday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Why Go? With summer on the horizon, it's the perfect time to get ready to cut the waves on an exciting jetski. All you need is this course, helpfully offered by the North Bellmore Fire Department, and you'll be ready to go. Pricing: $60 per person/$20 deposit at registration.
