  2. Adult Knitting Where/When? North Bellmore Public Library; Friday,  4 p.m. Why Go? Knitters, now you can find a place to knit with like-minded individuals, trading knitting stories and techniques while making friends and having fun with your favorite pastime. Pricing: Free, Open to All.
  3. Free Pancake Breakfast for Veterans Where/When? Seaford Knights of Columbus; Saturday, 9 a.m. Why Go? State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo invites pays respect to local community military vets by inviting them to a delicious pancake breakfast. Pricing: Free, register by calling Senator Fuschillo's office at 516-882-0630.
  4.  Where/When? Nikon at Jones Beach Theater; Saturday, 7:30 p.m. Why Go? Rock mega-band Soundgarden's U.S. tour takes them to Jones Beach's Nikon Theater this Saturday. Rock along with the music at this great outdoor venue as the stars come out. Pricing: $39.50 - $87.50.
  5. Sunday Night Funnies Where/When? Brokerage Comedy Club; Sunday, 8 p.m. Why Go? Steel yourself for the upcoming work week by getting some laughs from some of the top local comedians working today. Pricing: $22 plus a two-drink minimum.
