- Beginner Yoga Where/When? North Bellmore Public Library; Friday, 12:30 p.m. Why Go? Looking to limber up and shed a few pounds? This class will teach you the ins-and-outs of Iyenger-style yoga, which promotes health and stress reduction. Pricing: Free, pre-registration required.
- March Comedy Madness Competition Where/When? Brokerage Comedy Club; Friday, 8 p.m. Why Go? Round two of the 5th annual March Comedy Madness Comedy Competition takes place tonight. Your cheers will decide which comics go on to the next round and which ones go home. Pricing: Tickets are $15+ a two beverage per person minimum.
- Welcome Spring Dinner Where/When? Grace Lutheran Church; Saturday, 6 p.m. Why Go? It's a community celebration of the impending spring season with good food, fun, and lots of exciting raffle prizes. Pricing: Adults $20; children (6-12 yrs.) $10; children under 5-year-old, free.
- Calhoun On Tour Company: Blood Brothers Where/When? Sanford H. Calhoun High School; Saturday, 7:30 p.m. Why Go? The tale of twins seperated at birth, Blood Brothers is the On Tour company's third production of the 2010-2011 season. Pricing: Tickets are $12 for adults, and $10 for students and seniors.
- Cabaret Night Where/When? Cafe Symposio; Sunday, 6:30 p.m. Why Go? Enjoy a delightful dinner, and then dance the night away as Castorina and Rose perform in cabaret style. Pricing: $45 per person.
