Group Attacks Guard, Injures Woman At Comedy Club
Police say the seven people were trying to leave the club without paying for anything.

Nassau police are searching for seven people that they say attacked a security guard and injured an employee at a comedy club in Bellmore Friday night.
According to police, a 55-year-old man was working as a security guard at the Brokerage Comedy Club, located at 2797 Merrick Road. There was a disagreement with seven patrons, and the guard intervened as they were trying to leave without paying for any of the services they were provided.
One of the seven, a man in his 30s wearing a dark shirt and dark baseball cap, pushed the guard to the floor and started punching and kicking him. Another man from the group tried to remove the guard's gun while several others were punching and kicking him.

During the fight, a 71-year-old woman who was working at the club was knocked to the floor. Then all seven fled north on Bellmore Avenue in a dark colored SUV.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with head and neck injuries. The guard suffered bruises to his head and was treated at the scene.
