JFK Boys Volleyball Team Wins County Championship
The team is competing for the Long Island championship this weekend.
Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District’s John F. Kennedy High School boys volleyball team captured the Nassau County Championship with a three-set sweep of Jericho High School on Nov. 7.
“This is the team’s fourth straight county title and their ninth in the past 11 years,” said Dennis Ringel, the team’s coach and a health teacher at the school.
The team will play for the Long Island Championship on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m., at Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood.
