For the first time since 1980, the John F. Kennedy Boys Varsity Golf team has won their conference.

The team compiled an 11-1 record this season and qualified to compete in the Nassau County tournament held at the Blue course of Bethpage State Park. The team was led this season by Junior Josh Moskowitz and sophomore Troy Grubman.

Senior captains Jonathan Lehrer and Matthew Gurvitz were solid all season long. Those four players and Junior Tyler Weinstein have also earned the right to play in the tournament as individual players. The sixth team spot was earned by senior Michael Capilupi.

Congratulations to Coach Lella and the entire team!
