Liberty Extends Deadline for 2022 Be Water Wise! Art Contest

The Deadline for Submissions has Been Extended to June 1st

Liberty is pleased to announce the annual Be Water Wise! Art Contest, which provides an opportunity for elementary students to creatively blend art and science to convey the importance of protecting and conserving our water.

“Environmental education is the key to water conservation,” said Chris Alario, President of Liberty. “We are teaching young Long Islanders the importance of water conservation — that the water coming out of the faucets in their homes is a precious resource not to be taken for granted. Students get to participate in educational and fun exercises that give them a chance to win prizes and recognition for their work.”

Liberty encourages teachers and parents to have eligible students in grades K-6 participate in the art contest as a fun and imaginative way to learn about the water cycle, water conservation and the importance of protecting our drinking water.
