"Programs such as these are the very reason we have libraries, to bring the community together," Board of Trustees President Brandon Gimpelman said.

While the concerts are free, attendees are encouraged to bring a canned or non-perishable food donation for Long Island Cares, the Harry Chapin Food Bank. The July 8 show will help support the Levittown American Legion Post 1711.

"Emerging from COVID, we are offering a great variety of online and in-person programming and the summer concert series is just the tip of the iceberg," Library Director Jessica Tymecki said.

All concerts are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Registration is not required.
