Local Bars Provide Jets' Fans with a Number of Options
Several Bellmore bars will have the AFC Championship on and plenty of deals to go around.
New York Jets' fans are already in a frenzy as Sunday's AFC Championship game against the second-seeded Pittsburgh Steelers quickly approaches. The game is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
Millions of fans will be watching the game across the nation and thousands will be cheering on Gang Green from Long Island. If you're a faithful football fanatic and want to be in the center of the action, then you're in luck, because Bellmore has a number of places to get your playoff fix.
Below is a list of bars and restaurants in Bellmore, and their gameday deals, where any type of fan can watch the Jets attempt to clinch a spot in this year's Super Bowl.

- Willie McBride’s: 25-cent wings; a bucket of beer (five beers for $12).
- K.J. Farrell’s: Will be broadcasting the game and according to an employee, “enjoying a Jets victory.” There will be beer specials during the game.
- Cassidy’s: A dozen wings for $5; $3 domestic beers and $4 imported beers.
- Applebee's: At the bar from 3 p.m. until closing, customers are offered two-fers on draft beers, wine and select mixed drinks. In addition to their drink specials, 25-cent wings will be served throughout the night.
- E.T. Quiggs: The staff will be pouring free shots every time the Jets score a touchdown and a free hot buffet will be out during the game.
