Local High Schools Gear Up for Varsity Playoffs

Hard work and perseverance have guided teams from Mepham, Kennedy and Calhoun High Schools to the Section VIII playoffs, and seven teams remain. 

Here's a look at the schedule for the teams competing in this year's playoffs:

Mepham High School

1. Girls Lacrosse: May 13, 4:30 p.m. at Manhasset. 
2. Softball: May 13, 4:30 p.m. vs. Oceanside

1. Boys Lacrosse: May 13, 4:30 p.m. at Lynbrook South
2. Baseball: May 14, 15 and 16, at Massapequa 4:15 p.m.

1. Girls Lacrosse: May 13, 4:30 p.m. vs. Lynbrook at South Middle School
2. Boys Lacrosse: May 13, 5:15 p.m. at Manhasset
3. Baseball: May 14, 15 and 16, at Hicksville, either 4 or 4:30 p.m.
