Man Robs Nassau 7-Eleven at Gunpoint, Zip-Ties Employees Hands Before Fleeing

BREAKING: The robber wore a mask and latex gloves when he held up the store.

Police are searching for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint and tied up the employee on duty.

According to detectives, an unknown man entered the 7-Eleven located at 2540 Merrick Road in Bellmore at 11:30 p.m. on Monday, displayed an automatic handgun and demanded money from the 41-year-old man working there. The robber then zip-tied the victim’s hands behind his back and proceeded to take an undetermined amount of cash from the registers and several packs of Newport cigarettes. The robber then fled the store on foot northbound towards Sunrise Highway.

There were no reported injuries. The robber was wearing a mask and latex gloves.
