McDonough Visits with Bellmore Boy Scouts

Assemblyman Dave McDonough, R-Merrick, recently spoke with the members of Boy Scout Troop 577 of Bellmore.

McDonough and the scouts discussed the workings of federal, state and local government and their constitutional rights and obligations as citizens.             

“The Boy Scout program helps build men of courage and principle and fosters skills for success that will last a lifetime,” McDonough said. “The scouts offered some insightful questions and demonstrated a strong sense of citizenship and community during our discussion.”
