The Mepham High School Chapter of the National English Honor Society recently welcomed 56 new members at their annual induction ceremony.
After greetings and salutations from chairperson Mrs. Netto and Mepham High School Principal Mr. Harrington, Mepham seniors Casey Getzler (piano) and Brenna Sherlock (vocals) performed a stunning rendition of Rihanna's "Stay."
The induction ceremony featured novelist Elizabeth Norris, a young adult fiction author, as the keynote speaker. This year, Principal Harrington was selected as an honorary inductee to the NEHS.
The annual Erin McArdle Memorial Scholarship was presented to senior co-president Masooma Kazmi for her dedication to the organization.
