Nassau OTB Hosts The Preakness at Over 20 Long Island Locations
Always Dreaming, With a New York-Long Island Connection, Races in Second Leg of Triple Crown
Nassau Off Track Betting (OTB) branches and Fast Track locations will be providing thousands of Long Islanders a venue to cheer on Always Dreaming, a horse co-owned by two New York -based residents, on his way to potential horse racing history. Attendees will also have the opportunity to observe one of the sports most respected jockeys, Horse Racing Hall of Fame inductee, winner of four Triple Crown races, and now jockey of Always Dreaming – John Velazquez, also a New York resident.
Long Islanders are welcomed to watch three year old American Thoroughbred racehorse in the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown in the 142nd Preakness Stakes on May 20, 2017, post time approximately 6:30 PM ET. Advanced wagering kicks off at 11am on Friday, May 19th & at 10am on Saturday, May 20th at the following Nassau OTB locations:
