Nassau Police Hunting Armed Robber Who Struck Multiple Times

The police are seeking the public's help to find and identify the man, who has robbed at least three stores at gunpoint in the last month.

The Nassau County Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a man wanted for at least three armed robberies across the county.

According to police, the man pictured above would enter stores armed with a black semiautomatic handgun and demand cash. Then he would flee the scene with the money.

  • Dec. 18, 1:45 a.m.: 7-Eleven, 310 Hempstead Ave., West Hempstead
  • Dec. 18, 3:14 a.m.: Sunoco Gas Station, 1220 Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale
  • Jan. 15, 9:28 p.m.: Subway sandwich shop, 2741 Jerusalem Ave., North Bellmore

Police say the robber is a black man, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black and white mask, black sweat pants with three white lines going down the legs, a black hooded sweatshirt, black sneakers with white soles and gloves.

Police ask anyone with information about this man or the robberies to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. You can also call the Robbery Squad at 516-573-8040 and refer to Robbery Squad Number 667-16. Callers will remain anonymous, and could receive a reward of up to $5,000.
