Nassau Police Locate Vulnerable Adult
Gary Shafer was last seen leaving his home Tuesday morning.

ORIGINAL STORY: Nassau County police are searching for a missing vulnerable adult who was last seen Tuesday morning in his home in Bellmore.
According to police, Gary Shafer, 76, was last seen leaving his home on Barbara Road at 8:50 a.m. He is a white man with white hair, green eyes, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, and was wearing blue jeans and a gray T-shirt.

Police do not know his possible destination.
Detectives request anyone with information about Shafer's whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
