Nassau Woman Sexually Assaulted After Being Hit From Behind
Police say her attacker dragged her to his car, where he assaulted her before she managed to escape.

A man knocked a woman unconscious in North Bellmore early Sunday morning before dragging her to a car and sexually assaulting her, police said.
According to detectives, a 25-year-old woman was walking west on Porter Street at 2 a.m. when she was hit in the head with an unknown object, which caused her to fall down. A man then picked her up and put her in the back seat of a vehicle and sexually assaulted her, police say. The woman hit the man and was able to flee and call police.
The attacker was a white man, 6 feet tall, in his 30s, with a very large build and a goatee with no mustache. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark sweatshirt. His car was a black, four-door sedan. It was a newer model with an extremely messy interior.
