New Baseball Field, Courts Under Construction At Newbridge Road Park

BELLMORE, NY — Plenty of upgrades are coming to Newbridge Park in Bellmore.

The baseball field will get fitted with new turf, bleachers and a backstop. But that's the start of the enhancements/

New basketball, tennis and pickleball courts are being designed.

"Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin and I are continuing our investment in our parks. This was made possible due to a recent bond upgrade and strong financial outlook for the Town of Hempstead," Councilman Chris Carini said. "Our bond rating is now the highest in the State. These upgrades will be done in time to enjoy this summer."

Construction on the ballfield is expected to start in early March.
